One more teaching practice was over..

 Today was the last day of our teaching practice @ St John's Model HSS, Nalanchira. We reached the school earlier than any day. Today we were busy all the time. We met our students of various classes and said goodbye to them. We felt that they were also sad as we were. We advised them to study well and to be the good citizens of our Nation and they agreed.

I was in 9B in the second period. All the students stand up and wished me good morning 🌞. I was so happy on that. I could see many sad faces as today their training teachers are completing their teaching practice in their school. Today I gave them remedial teaching. Today most of the naughty students were silent and allowed me to teach well. 

In the interval time, my students came to talk me. They wished me the best and me too .. we talked about our students most of the time today.

We had payasam sponsored by the HM. After noon, there was a painting 🎨 competition for the high school and higher secondary students. Chandrayan 3 was the topic for high school students. Digital India was the topic for higher secondary students. Some of us were on invigilation duty. Also in 6th period I was on invigilation duty of National Talents Search exam for the higher secondary students. In the last period, Vimal,Surya,Hema, Megha,Anu Roy and me went to 9B for giving them sweets. We shared our beautiful memories at the school and advised them to study well and to be a good human being. We took some photos with them. Students talked many things to us and they said goodbye 👋. Then I met Asha teacher and gave a small gift 🎁 to her and conveyed my sincere thanks. Teacher blessed me to do more.

From 3.45 pm, we had a meeting in the Office. The teachers shared their opinions about us and blessed us. We shared sweets to the teachers.Today is an unforgettable day in my life.

As  we have morning duty, Anu Roy and me reached the school by 8.45 am. I had duty near the Badam tree infront of the school 🏫. Some of the students wished a good morning 🌞. As June 21 is celebrated as International Yoga Day, we were assigned to conduct a yoga training session for the students. The program started by 10 am. Sr Jomsy talked about the importance of yoga for a healthy life. Sandra demonstrated pranayama and Megha explained its benefits. Arya demonstrated thadasana and Sreeja explained its benefits. Parvathi demonstrated padmasana and me presented its benefits. Finally Hema demonstrated vrikshasana . Finally Anu Roy concluded the session. All the students were so cooperating. They did the asanas very well. It was a nice program. We did discipline duty at first floor at the interval time (11-11.10 am). In 4th period Sreeja and me went to 8D for substitution. Day 22

 I reached the school by 8.45 am. I had morning discipline duty near the Badam tree from 8.45 to 9.30 am. As the body of former Chief minister Sri Ummen Chaandi sir was kept for public view, there was huge block in the main road so that most of the students and teachers came late. In first period I went to 8A along with Amalu. The students were so noisy. They were discussing the incidents of 4 holidays. Amalu taught them 2 problems that involved drawing angle bisectors. Later, I engaged in my works. In 7th period, I had class in 9B. I taught them how to solve a pair of equations in 2 variables. We left the school by 3.40pm.

Day 15

I reached the school by 9am and marked the attendance. We were in morning discipline duty upto 9.30. As usual we had prayer at 9.30. In first period, I engaged in my works. In second period. In 3rd period, I went to 8C along with Amalu. She was teaching how to draw perpendicular bisector of a line. It was a disciplined and meaningful class. In 4th period, I was in 8C with Nithin Shaji. He was teaching how to seperate petrol from crude oil. Then he cleared the doubts of students and later taught about pure substances and mixtures. His class was value oriented and he kept the class disciplined.   In 5th period, Megha and me went to 9B for substitution. As it was their PT period, they were not ready to study. As their noise increased beyond limits, Megha asked them to study what she taught and she asked questions to them. Some of the students answered correctly and the others not.
